Ethos

Our ethos is simple – to provide warm, dry and safe houses and manage them for long-term success

Sustainable and environmentally responsible projects

We are committed to running environmentally responsible projects that protect and enhance the local area. We adopt environmentally sustainable practices as often as possible, including:

  • Zero contamination to any waterways
  • Utilising non-potable water through an aboveground rainwater harvesting system to provide water for landscaped areas where possible
  • Focussing on wooden framing structures that exceed Building Code standards, reducing the need for steel and concrete (reducing our carbon emissions)
  • Protecting local flora and fauna by ensuring that our landscaping uses a local palate of shrubbery and trees, in keeping with the local aesthetic and ecosystem
Designs that exceed standards

We develop and own socially-responsible properties – our homes exceed the expected standards in many areas, including:

  • Exceed the standards outlined in the Healthy Homes Guarantee Act 2017
  • Exceed the requirements for a Homestar 6 rating for superior health, warmth and efficiency
  • Exceed the Building Code for insulation, ventilation and noise insulation
  • Provide a safe and secure property that meets Crime Prevention Through Environment Design (CPTED) criteria
Superior tenant amenity

Our properties are located close to local amenities, with tenant comfort and ease of living at the core of our design principles. We provide properties that are well-presented and modern, providing spaces that tenants can enjoy living in. Once complete, our properties are maintained and managed by our in-house asset management team with quality tenancy management partners.

Encouraging inclusive communities

We understand the value of community, and encourage ongoing participation in properties through:

  • Providing many Universal and Lifemark dwellings to ensure we are able to offer accessible options for our tenants
  • Encouraging positive friction through our onsite communal areas, such as gardens, pathways, and common facilities (such as laundry rooms)
  • Partnering with our neighbours and communities (please see our partnerships page)
