Sam Wallace
Managing Director
Sam established Soho in 2017, with the intention of focusing on innovative and sustainable public housing for New Zealand. With a background in law, property development, and asset management Sam is passionate about delivering optimal tenant outcomes through design-led housing solutions. Sam leads our team, developments, and asset management and is the key liaison for the housing providers we work with.
Brad Davis
General Counsel and Development Manager
As National Development Manager, Brad works closely alongside Soho's key clients and stakeholders to identify, procure, develop and lead innovative housing opportunities across New Zealand. Brad is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day legal operations of Soho Group. Brad is passionate about unlocking innovative solutions in affordable and public housing sectors. Prior to joining Soho Group, Brad practiced law for New Zealand law firm, Chapman Tripp, in Auckland.
Emma Jackson
Operations Manager
With a background in multi-national operational support gained across the UK, Ireland and New Zealand, Emma manages Soho’s day-to-day operations. Emma leads our portfolio management team, our branding and communications, people and culture, and also assists with business development initiatives. Emma has studied Project Management (Southern Institute of Technology) and Personnel Practice (CIPD, UK).
Ben Noone
Head of Project Delivery
Ben is responsible for leading the delivery of our projects from design to civil construction and vertical build. Ben brings robust construction and development experience, value engineering and sharp commercial nous. Prior to working with Soho, Ben had a varied background; starting as an apprentice carpenter, subsequently becoming qualified under BCITO, to working in numerous roles across Fletcher Building Group for the better part of a decade. Ben’s formal education includes a Bcom from Otago university and MBA from Auckland university.
Dan Jackson
Senior Project Manager - Vertical Build
Dan brings extensive construction and development experience from the commercial and residential sectors in New Zealand and Australia, and manages the delivery of our build projects. Dan is a qualified builder under the BCITO, a licensed building and Homestar practitioner.
George Grant
Financial Controller
George is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Auckland and has spent considerable time in London where he was exposed to a wide variety of roles and industries. More notable assignments include The Football Association, Hamleys, Sage, The Telegraph and World Remit. George enjoys delivering value through commercial insight and problem solving.
Dave Hanlon
Project Manager - Civils
Dave leads our environmental and civil works. Dave has worked in the civil construction industry for over 20 years in both the UK and NZ. During this time, he has been a licensed drainage and water reticulation contractor, and worked in roading, bridging, marine construction, land development and rail. He has worked on the rebuild team in the Christchurch earthquakes and building schools for the Ministry of Education. He has a huge amount of environmental management training and has been involved in gaining complex land development consents.
Alice Francis
Property Manager
Alice is responsible for the management of our completed projects. She focuses on maintaining key relationships with our Community Housing Providers and takes pride in ensuring all our sites are kept to a high standard. Having spent several years in the real estate industry, Alice understands communication is the foundation of a successful partnership. With a passion for property and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction, Alice brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every aspect of property management.
Veronica Huhane
Accounts Administrator
Veronica provides support to our Financial Controller. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Auckland, aspiring to major in Accounting and Operations and Supply Chain Management. She currently holds an Arts Degree in History and Criminology and has worked in the past with low socio-economic students via the University of Auckland MATES mentoring program. Veronica is passionate about giving back to her community and believes the public housing innovations at Soho Group aligns with her ideals.
